For the first real meet of the year, there were some impressive results. There were 13 marks that made the Titan All-Time list. There were 12 more marks that would have made the list if the athlete wasn’t already on it with a previous best. And the number of personal records probably numbered over 100. Overall, this was a great meet and provided a starting point to improve upon through the season.

FRIDAY’S WORKOUT
The relays Friday were great to watch. They showed some real TEAMwork and competitiveness. I hope you felt like you were giving some extra effort during each leg of the relay knowing that your teammate or partner was depending on you. We hope you feel that way in every workout- the TEAM is depending on you.

SATURDAY’S WORKOUT
This was a good chance to get some of your performances on video where you can see what you need to do to improve your technique and mechanics. If you got videoed and do not have a HUDL account, let me know.

CONGRATS CAPTAINS
Brenn Flint, Renee Peterson, Alyssa Perry, Isabella Williams, Daunte Atkinson, Treston Cullimore, Colten Yardley, Ammon Riley, Broderic Hall and Carson Andreasen. Ten great seniors with many more seniors who will also give some great leadership.

AND CONGRATS COACH BURTENSHAW
The proud mother of a new baby girl. Not sure of the size, weight, etc., but she is healthy. I think we can even excuse Coach missing practice for a couple days.

FREMONT/VIEWMONT TRI-MEET
We will travel to Viewmont Wednesday for a Region tri-meet. Both Fremont and Viewmont have some great athletes that will give us a challenge. Those competing will be excused at 1:20 with the bus leaving at 1:30.

DAVIS DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIPS
We will be hosting the Davis County Championships March 24th and 25th. This is our first state qualifying meet. In the past, we have used it as our "fund raiser" to help supplement our budget. We have done this by running a concessions stand and "selling" event sponsorships. Hopefully, this will make it so we can continue to upgrade our equipment without having to sell cookie dough or caramel popcorn. I’ve attached the details.

UPCOMING SCHEDULE
Mar 18 - SHS/Fremont at Viewmont @ 3:00 pm

Mar 24/25 - Davis District Championships at SHS
Mar 28 - Copper Hills Inv. @ 9:00 am
