Titan Track Bulletin - Feb 27, 2012

CONGRATS GIRLS BB
Great job by the Lady Titans!! An undefeated season and a State Championship. Congrats to all, especially those ladies who also help our Track TEAM.

WORKOUTS THIS WEEK
We are at the mercy of the weather. About the only thing that is certain: we will have some type of workout everyday this week. Be dressed, ready for any type of weather. We may be inside some days. I will put a sign in my window (room 2118) as well as on the locker room doors each day telling you where to meet and how to dress.

REQUIRED PAPERWORK and FEES
If this is your first sport at Syracuse, you need: Tryout Checklist, Code of Conduct, Concussion Training Form, Hazing Form, “A” Form Physical, $65 District Fee, $20 Transportation Fee.
First sport this year at Syracuse, “A” Form on file, you need: Tryout Checklist, Code of Conduct, “B” Form Physical, Concussion Training Form, Hazing Form, $65 District Fee, $20 Transportation Fee.
Participated in a sport this year at Syracuse, you need:Tryout Checklist, Concussion Training Form, Hazing Form, $65 District Fee, $20 Transportation Fee.

U MAKEUP
Many of you have “U’s”. You can start making them up after practice each day. All “U’s” must be cleared before you can compete (except for the Intrasquad meet), get a locker, or receive a uniform.

ALUMNI UPDATE
Hannah Williams ran 5:02.4 to place 6th in the mile run at the WAC Indoor Championships. She also anchored the USU distance medley to a 2nd place finish. These efforts help lead the Aggies to the conference championship. Mayra Franco ran 8.15 in the 60m dash, 26.19 in the 200, and most impressively, ran a 58-second split in the 4x400m relay for SUU at their conference championships. Hunter Naisbitt threw 43'07 in the weight and 43'03 in the shot put. Jake Rossmango ran a 3:10 1200m split in the distance medley relay to lead TCU to a 5th place finish at the Mountain West Championships. And Lindsey Mcfarland ran a great 800 leg on the 1st-place WSU distance medley relay helping the Lady Wildcats to a Big Sky title by one-point.

PARENT / ATHLETE NIGHT
This is a mandatory meeting for all athletes and parents. It should be a great night. James Parker, a 9-time All-American and 2004 U.S. Olympian will be our guest speaker. Start clearing your schedule so you can attend.
